Blackboard for Student Engagement, Assignment and Assessment Practices In-Person
This hands-on workshop introduces and demonstrates the concept of online engagement with students on Blackboard as well as online assignment and assessment options on Blackboard. Participants will learn how to use Blackboard communication tools in their course. Participants will also learn how to set up electronic submissions of assignments & assessments, and how to use the Blackboard Grade Centre as well as Turnitin function. We will discuss recommended Blackboard practice in teaching and learning too. This workshop suits anyone who is involved in teaching, particularly those who are new to Blackboard and those who would like to refresh their use of Blackboard in teaching.
