How to use VStream to record your lectures In-Person
VStream is the video recording and distributing system used at Victoria. It allows recordings to be made in an office, in teaching spaces and on any remote computer. VStream uses a tool called Panopto to record and deliver these videos to students. This session will show you how to use the Panopto desktop recorder to record your lectures when you aren't in a lecture theatre. It will cover downloading the application, choosing what to record and how to edit the recording before you make it available to students.
What will you learn:
- Using VStream to create mini-lectures from anywhere you have access to a computer and the internet
- How to prepare your devices for recording, and getting yourself ready to record
- How to edit and publish your recordings to students
