Collecting sensitive data Online
Are you planning to collect sensitive data, such as personal information, in your research? This session will cover different methods you can use to protect this data:
- in Qualtrics, by creating screener surveys, using pre-assigned participant Ids, and anonymising responses.
- using Zoom, with end-to-end encryption and recording to local storage, for research interviews
- by meeting ethics and Privacy Act obligations, including Heath and Disabilities Ethics Committee (HDEC), and
- by considering data sovereignty implications of data transfer, storage and sharing options.
