(FGR) How to make/give a great presentation In-Person / Online
Crafting and delivering an exceptional presentation involves a combination of thoughtful preparation, engaging content, and effective communication skills. Thoughtful planning lays the foundation, ensuring that each element aligns seamlessly to convey a coherent and impactful message. Engaging content, rich in relevance and clarity, captivates the audience's attention, fostering a connection between you and your audience. Finally, effective communication skills, encompassing verbal and non-verbal cues, transform information into an engaging narrative. In this symphony of preparation, content, and communication, a truly exceptional presentation comes to life, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
In this workshop you will learn how to give clear and successful presentations – how to take your beautifully written paper and present its message so that the audience remember the presentation and, more importantly, go read your paper. Topics covered will include:
- Asking the right questions — what are the questions you should ask yourself when preparing a presentation?
- Telling a good story — how do you make your talk memorable so that your audience remembers your key message?
- Preparing slides — why are so many slide sets so bad and how can you make sure that yours are good?
