AI dialogues in qualitative research analysis In-Person
As part of his PhD study analysis, Patrick Dodson will walk through his dialogue with GPT’s and the qualitative data obtained by cooking a four course meal with 10 different participants. The large and varied amount of data provided AI opportunities to explore complex relationships from expert sources. Patrick will discuss RAG concerns, AI tutoring, creativity vs convenience and other topics as he walks through the analysis process he has and is undertaking. This will be a conversational presentation where dialogue in the room can help guide the overall session direction.
Bio: Patrick is presently a PhD candidate in health psychology at Te Herenga Waka. His BA (psychology, Massey), PGDip (health psychology, VIC), and work as a health coach with cancer patients has informed his present research directions. His work in developing AI dialogues has emerged to meet the challenge of learning alongside massive qualitative data sets.
