FGR 'Crafting winning ethics applications' In-Person / Online
The University has a Human Ethics Committee (HEC) which reviews, approves and monitors research projects involving human participants, their data or tissue. They're like the superheroes of ethical conduct, making sure everything runs smoothly. But how do you make your first ethics submission count and set yourself up for a smoother ride through the review process?
Join us for this interactive session, where you’ll gain key insights into the ethics application process, practical tips for crafting a strong application, an understanding of common pitfalls to avoid, and much more. This session will be a blend of presentation, conversation, and diverse perspectives. This format will provide a unique opportunity to share and learn good practices from others in the community. It’s not just about gaining valuable insights—it’s also a great chance to connect with fellow students and professionals.
