SNAP Workshop - Introduction to Python In-Person
SNAP – the VUW group for Simulation, Numerics, Analytics and Programming – is hosting a student workshop series on Python! SNAP was set up to share computational tooling among staff and students at Vic.
Come join part one of this series where we will cover the basics of Python programming, including some basic programming concepts as well as how to approach problems in a "Pythonic" way. By the end, you will know how to perform basic analyses and visualisation of data.
This session will be led by Angela Xue, a PhD student at VUW.
Who: Beginners of Python; zero programming experience is needed.
When: Thursday, 21 August 2-4pm
Where: MY403 (this is correct room)
Your own computer is necessary, with Python 3 installed and ideally Jupyter Notebook.
