Career Preparation Workshop: Intro to Project Management (Te Aro campus)

Intro to Project Management - strategies for success in individual and group work

This will be held at the Faculty of Architecture & Design, Te Aro

This workshop is the first of a new Employability and Workplace Skills Series.

It is a collaboration between Student Learning & Careers and Employment.

In this workshop you will:

 - Gain an introduction to what is project management and why it is so valued by employers

 - Become familiar with key terms associated with project management including scope and risks

 - Understand how project management can improve your time management and organisation skills

 - Learn how using a project management approach to scheduling and meetings can help group and team work

 - Practice mapping out a project management plan

 - Gain access to key resources and templates to put what you have learnt into practice straight away

  • a Pasifika learning adviser to support Pasifika students in their studies
  • maths and statistics support.
