Disability inclusive pedagogies In-Person

Workshop with practical application tips for teaching for inclusivity for disability learners.

led by Brett Challacombe-King, Pou Whakatuwhara-Accessibility and Inclusion Lead, Te Amaru-Disability Services and Rachel Anderson-Smith, Manu Taikō-Associate Director of Student Equity and Wellbeing.

This workshop offers a practical and insightful discussion on Disability Inclusion at Te Herenga Waka. You'll gain a strong understanding of the experience of disabled students, how the University is tracking on key disability indicators, and explore effective strategies to make your teaching and content more inclusive and accessible. Whether you're new to this space or looking to deepen your practice, you'll leave with actionable techniques you can apply right away.

Thank you for registering for the VicTeach: Disability Inclusion at Te Herenga Waka workshop. Please answer this 5-minute survey so the workshop can be tailored to meet your needs.
