Postgraduate: Academic writing, paraphrasing and summarising (in-person, KK001) In-Person

This workshop is open to post-graduates of all levels (honors, MA, PhD). It covers what it means to write academically at a postgraduate level. We will discuss supporting your writing with evidence by paraphrasing and summarising literature. We will discuss how this ensures you are using good strategies to adhere to academic integrity policies.

  • 15-minute express appointments with a learning adviser at Info Ihonui, Level 2 Library entrance, the Hub, 11am to 1pm, Monday to Friday during teaching weeks
  • postgraduate seminars and support
  • a Māori Learning adviser to support Māori students in their studies
  • a Pasifika learning adviser to support Pasifika students in their studies
  • maths and statistics support.
