Join us for an interactive and energising session designed to set you up for a successful summer scholarship experience! 

In this workshop, you’ll: 

• Get a clear overview of the scholarship’s purpose, structure, key requirements, and milestones 

• Learn essential health and safety information and meet the key Summer Research Scholarship Programme contacts who will support you 

• Connect with fellow students in the Summer Research Scholarship Programme 

• Discover practical tips for planning your project and communicating effectively with your supervisors and stakeholders 

• Explore your goals, expectations, and any concerns through real-world scenarios 

• Gain insights into your strengths, skills, and communication style—and learn how to work well with others 

This session is designed to be fun, interactive, and full of useful tools to help you make the most of your scholarship and project experience. 

Refreshments and breaks will be provided throughout the workshop. 

Your supervisor will receive a summary of the workshop content and will expect you to attend. If you’re unable to join, a basic resource summary will be available afterwards.
